Dracula di Bram Stoker

Uno dei mostri più affascinanti è indubbiamente il conte Dracula. L’affasciante principe portato nella cultura popolare dal romanzo di Bram Stoker.
Il vestito da Dracula è uno dei grandi classici di Halloween. Si può decidere se concedersi una versione più completa, con vestito vittoriano e mantello, o vestirsi semplicemente di nero e affidarsi al trucco. Ecco un tutorial non troppo difficile da riprodurre.
La creatura di Frankenstein di Mary Shelley

La creatura creata da Victor Frankenstein e dalla penna di Mary Shelley è uno dei mostri più introspettivi della letteratura. Rigettato dal suo creatore, che si rende conto di aver creato un abominio, la creatura si trova come un bambino indifeso in un mondo che ha orrore e paura di lui, e inizia a cercare vendetta contro Victor Frankenstein.
Il vestito da mostro di Frankenstein, come Dracula, rientra tra i classici di Halloween,anche se non è molto di moda ultimamente.

Dr Jekyll e mr Hyde di Stevenson

Il tema del doppio e dell’istinto soppresso dalla morale e dal comportamento sociale è al centro del romanzo di Stevenson.
Per un costume da dr Jekyll e mr Hyde, truccate solo mezza faccia con le fattezze di mr Hyde. Se non avete voglia di spendere in costumi, anche solo un cappello a cilindro darà quel tocco vittoriano al vostro look.

Il protagonista senza nome del romanzo di Roald Dahl viene messo in guardia dalla nonna dalle vere streghe che popolano il mondo e che odiano i bambini al punto tale da pianificare di trasformare tutti i bambini di Inghilterra in topi. Riusciranno nipote e nonna a sconfiggere le streghe?
A capo delle streghe e antagonista massima del romanzo è la Strega Suprema che dietro a una maschera da bellissima donna nasconde il suo vero volto, putrefatto e mangiato dai vermi.
Se volete copiare questo look, prendere ispirazione dal film del 1990 con Anjelica Huston.
